Community Cares was formed at the start of the Covid-19 Pandemic. When schools went remote in March 2020, we realized there were going to be families who needed some extra support. Our Facebook group because a vital hub to connect people who needed help with donors willing to help. One of our first requests was toilet paper for a family who was all sick with Covid. As the pandemic progressed, so did our focus. We partnered with the school district to deliver breakfast and lunch to families who weren't able to pick it up. Our army of volunteers delivered 30,000 meals to SD308 students between April and August in 2020. 

We continue to work with school social workers to provide ad-hoc assistance to families in a time of crisis. Additionally, we have three large projects:
